Dear e-Subscriber

After a ten week effort of drafting and testing...the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies has completed its new website two weeks ahead of schedule! We are proud if the results, so if you have yet to check it out...please do so. Forward this message to your friends and they can "SIGN UP" (to the left of page) as an e-Subscriber and also receive these monthly e- Letters. Tom Buckridge, Interim Director

The new website makes locating exactly what you want far easier and faster by clicking onto banner links at the top of our home page. Our new three month rolling calendar gives our strategic partners and the CCJS an opportunity to tell our e-subscribers what is coming up on religious holidays and events.

The new website honors Bishop John J. Nevins upon his retirement as Vicar of the Diocese of Venice, viewed on our home page. Periodically, new people and event features will be added...so check into the site each month.

The 8th Annual Eternal Light Dinner will be held Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 5 p.m. at Michael's On East in Sarasota Honoring: Rabbi A. James Rudin; Details Coming Soon

Please tell your friends and associates about this important event. To assure you receive a formal invitation, contact Jane Bracken at the CCJS office via the "Contact Us" link on the website "By e-mail" link or directly to jane.bracken@saintleo.edu

Next month, you will hear about the Center teaming up with Saint Leo University's Library to seek a Jewish Literature Series grant from the American Library Association involving the community and students on campus. Stay tuned! This is all in the spirit of "Building mutual respect, understanding and appreciation between Jews, Catholics and all people of good will by providing opportunities for interfaith education and dialogue."

Sincerely,

Tom Buckridge
